Email Contact@aitranslation.appMake sure your iPhone and TV are on the same Wi-Fi network, and allow Universal Control to access the local network when prompted (or in iOS Settings ▸ Universal Control ▸ Local Network). If discovery still fails, you can add the TV manually by its IP address — the app supports Roku, Samsung, LG, Vizio, Sony and Android TV by IP.
Roku, Samsung (Tizen), LG (webOS), Vizio SmartCast, Sony Bravia, Android TV / Google TV, Fire TV, Apple TV and Chromecast. Available functions depend on each brand’s protocol.
Open the app and connect to your TV at least once — the app shares the active device with the widget and Siri. Make sure you’re signed in to the same device and the TV is reachable on your Wi-Fi.
Say, for example, “Hey Siri, turn up the TV with Universal Control” or “Toggle power on Universal Control.” You can rename these phrases in the Shortcuts app.
Go to iOS Settings ▸ your name ▸ Subscriptions, select Universal Control, and choose your plan or cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
